BAMBARAKANDA WATERFALL

 





Bambarakanda is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is the 299th tallest waterfall in the world. This is created by a small stream which is a tributary of the Walawe river. You have to buy a ticket to visit this waterfall. Proceeds will be used to maintain the road to the falls and to conserve the environment around the falls. You can reach Bambarakanda waterfall by walking for about one kilometer on the forest road made of pine trees. And you can experience its beauty.
